Frequently asked questions
How do I get my sign?
Add your car in your dashboard. Its QR code and FOR SALE sign are made automatically. Open "Sign" (dealers) or "Print sign" (private sellers) and print it on Letter paper, or save it as a PDF. Dealers who upload a CSV get every new sign in one PDF.
Where does the Layer1 Auto sign go on a dealer car?
Your Layer1 Auto sign goes alongside, never covering, the FTC Buyers Guide and any Wisconsin-required window forms.
How does the QR code work?
Each car gets its own QR code. A buyer scans it with a phone camera and lands on that car's page, where they can text, call or message you. Messages also go to your dashboard inbox. No app is needed.
What is the difference between the dealer plans?
How many cars you can list at once: Starter up to 20, Growth up to 50, Pro up to 80. Cars you mark as sold don't count. For more than 80 cars or several lots, contact us about Enterprise.
What happens when I reach my plan's limit?
You can't add more cars until you mark one as sold or move to a bigger plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your dealer dashboard or your account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for. There are no contracts or cancellation fees, and no refunds for part of a month. See our Refund policy.
Does a private seller listing renew automatically?
No. The $19.99 listing runs 60 days and then ends. If your car hasn't sold, you can extend it 30 days for $9.99 from your seller dashboard.
Do you take a commission on my sale?
No. You pay only the listing fee or your monthly plan. No per-lead fees and no commissions on your sales.
